Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kiyomizu Temple are must visit places in Kyoto.These temples were added to the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. Also we will experience the unique Japanese Shinto shrine, the Heian Shrine.Please enjoy dinner in the place plenty of Japanese ambience.

Kinkaku-ji Temple
Kinkakuji was built in 1397 by Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu as his retirement villa. The gardens are designated as a special national historic and scenic site. The “Sekka-tei” tea house, located in the garden, is famous for its staggered shelves made of bush clover wood, and its Nanten alcove pillar.

Heian Shrine
This shrine was constructed in 1895 in commemoration of Kyoto’s 1,100 year anniversary. It is a 5/8 scale reconstruction of the original Imperial Palace, built when Kyoto was founded in 794. The Jidai Festival is held annually by the shrine on the 22nd of October.

Kiyomizu Temple
This temple is noted for its Main Hall on the cliff top with a broad wooden veranda and a panoramic view of Kyoto city.The veranda is supported on a scaffold of wood towering on a wooded hillside, so the veranda seems to hang in midair. The valley is so deep that there has been the expression “jumping from the veranda of Kiyomizu temple”, which means doing something daring. The present temple building was built in 1633, and its main hall has been designated as National Treasure.

It's a brilliant place to get your dinner. Restaurant is located in a historic district close to the Kiyomizu temple. Italian dishes made from fresh local ingredients to enjoy in a private residence that Seiho loved.(It will be served in a buffet style for this tour)

Todai-ji Temple
Todai-ji is recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. Todai-ji Temple is a complex of buildings that includes the world's largest wooden structure, the 48m (157 foot)-high Daibutsu-den, built in 743 which houses the 15m (49 foot) gilt bronze Daibutsu (Great Buddha), cast in 749: also the largest of its kind in the world.

Kasuga-taisha Shrine
The “Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara” including Kasuga Taisha and Kasugayama Primeval Forest were designated as a joint UNESCO World Heritage Site. The shrine halls’ bright vermillion columns, white walls, and roofs of hinoki cypress bark contrast beautifully with the green of the surrounding ancient woods. The serene beauty of the buildings has not changed since its inception.

 Osaka Half-Day Tour

Osaka is a large port city and commercial center. This half-day tour includes a river cruise and an observatory on the 60th floor visit. You can enjoy the panoramic view from river and about 300-meter high. Also enjoy the traditional Osaka taste “Kushikatu”.

HARUKAS 300(Observatory)
HARUKAS 300 is the observatory located in Japan's highest 300-meter building〝ABENO HARUKAS,″ consisting of three layers of the 58th, 59th and 60th floors. When weather permits, this observatory commands a panoramic view of Kyoto to the Rokko Mountains, Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge to Awaji Island, Ikoma Mountains and Kansai International Airport.

Yokozuna Kushikatsu(Dinner Restaurant)
 Yokozuna Kushikatsu Kushikatsu, also known as kushiage, is a Japanese dish of deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables. In Japanese, kushi refers to the skewers used while katsu means a deep-fried cutlet of meats or vegetables.”Yokozuna Kushikatsu” is 5 times bigger than the regular size. They are proud of their crispy and fluffy fried batter as well as their secret sauce. Please enjoy traditional Osaka Cuisine!

  Uji Half-Day Tour

Uji is well known for the beautiful Byodo-in temple which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. But it is also famous for green tea. You can enjoy creating matcha using a stone mill.
Uji would definitely make a wonderful half day trip.

Experience grinding tea leaves on a stone mill to create matcha (powdered green tea). Afterwards, enjoy the full flavor and fragrance of your own handmade tea while munching on snacks. Please note that during the tea-making experience, the tea powder may spill on your clothes.

Byodo-in Temple
The Byodo-in is recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. This temple contained a large number of buildings on its expansive site when it’s established in the 11th century. However, most of these buildings have been destroyed by the flames of war. All that remain at the present time are Hoo-do (“Phoenix Hall”), Kannon-do Hall, which is designated by the national government as an Important Cultural Property. The Hoo-do is particularly well known for its depiction on the 10-yen coin.

Shinsen-En Heihachi (dinner restaurant)
Shinsen-en is the one of the oldest garden left as the original form in Kyoto. It was found in year 794, when the Emperor Kanmu developed the palace in the city. The garden was named so meaning the well keeps gushing out fresh water. Heihachi has been operating almost 50 years in this place. You can enjoy Japanese cuisine with seasonal beauty of the garden.
